In addition, you won’t need a frosted diffusers that comes with SMD LED Strips where SDCM are not always taken into consideration during application leading to lower light quality and low light efficency.
2-More flexible:
COB strips are much more flexible than traditional SMD strip because the wafer is no longer requiered to be packaged in a traditional SMD Chip housing, therefore is has uniform weight distribution during bending. This extra flexibility will make it easier for them to fit into tight areas and turn corners in your application.
